DHS FEMA, National Preparedness Directorate (NPD)

Awarded The Cohoes Fire Department with a Grant worth $16,550 of New Extracation Equipment and Training. This new equipmentment and training will provided the department with the tools needed to perform the tasks of Extracation.
These new tools will help the firefighters perform vehicle extracation, rescue from building collapse, bridge collapse, train delrailment are some possible examples.
